Seriously, I don't understand it either. Same with drugs, I can't imagine not being fully conscious and aware of what I'm doing. Although, as I understand, a lot of people use it to kill pain, which I suppose would explain it. Maybe.

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?

Drugs in general baffle me. Cigarettes leave you fully concious, but they're completely pointless. Stress is no reason to give yourself cancer.

If you have so litle of a life that you rely on drugs to give you a life, you may as well not be living.

Wow, I'm some surprised that I found someone who agrees with me o_o Usually when I have this conversation it'll go "Alcohol is bad but drugs are OK Smile".

Anyway, I completely agree. I remember a speech someone did in my Speech class about lowering the drinking age to 16. Part of their reasoning was that you could buy tobacco at 18 but not alcohol and that that didn't make sense to her. I wanted to point out that tobacco is non-mind altering but we weren't allowed to interrupt the speeches.

I think there are better ways to relieve stress and pain and that drugs and alcohol ultimately end up producing more stress than less, in the long run. I know people who's whole lives revolve around drinking and doing drugs and I find that incredibly sad.

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?

Well, it is incredibly sad. And pathetic.

I had a friend in middle school who woudl stay up when he slet at a friend's ouse, and smoke pot/drink with his mom. It's terrible what this world has come to.

EDIT: I don't drink either. I don't need alcohol to do stupid things, I just do stupid things.

Actually, I agree too although I don't agree that anyone should actually do those things (it's their life, though). But I don't think drinking should be legal for 16 year olds, I think that's just ridiculous. But, yeah, if you're old enough to go to war, you're old enough to decide whether or not you want to drink or smoke or other such things.

I hate the smell and taste of alcohol (even the cough syrup-y sweet kind) but my parents asked me to have some champagne with them for New Year's so I did.

I broke my tailbone on a camping trip once and all we had was midol, ibuprofen, and alcohol so I did drink at that time. I learned that after four shots of bailey's and two rum and cokes you start to forget it tastes like shit.

Zombie is a resident of Germany. Beer is in their blood or so I'm told.

well, beer is quite prominent especially here in Bavaria.

Drinking mild stuff like beer, wine or champagne is legal 16+ here, and most, if not all, of Europe. Occasionally drinking is not/scarcely dangerous and must be seperated from being an alcoholic. Stuff like rum or vodka is 18+.
Oh, and beer != beer Wink

Heh, me too. I don't act off the wall or anything, exactly the opposite, actually. People always think I'm high on pot or something because I have very low energy =\ I dunno, I guess I just look like someone who would, too. A few people in high school would ask me for drugs, like I was a dealer or something.

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?

I can go from very mellow, to very critical, to off the wall. I'm not manic, it's just depending on the moods I'm in. When I get tired, I seem like I'm drunk, and I insult things a lot. Mellow when I haven't said anything for a while or when I'm in deep thought about something, or after I just read a lot, and off the wall whenever my body so compells me.

Liberties just means being free to make that decision. Going to war ain't much better and you're made to register for that when you're 18 (if you're male).
