T9 is only on LG phones, right? I have a Razr now and I don't know if it does T9.

Predictive text entering is quite handy when I found out about it. Saves tons of key strokes.

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today?
Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection.
Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!

I used to have a kyocera phone that had that, my motorola doesnt, but it does guess words as I type them out normally, but T9 is so much fater. Other than that that Kyocera was a piece of crap.

I agree with ZSupra1221, I think most cellphones has it. On my cellphone you can even add new words that t9 cant recognise. Just add it in the dictionary then its all set...very handy indeed.

Who cares about T9? I'm sick of seeing people type their stupid text messages all the time.

Put your phone down. You aren't that important.

Same could be said for people talking face to face with other people too, couldn't it? Text messaging (which I don't do, by the way. I don't even own my own cell phone because I hate phones) is simply another means of conveying thought, no different from speaking, talking over the phone, writing a letter, writing an email, or using an instant messenger. I never really understand why people hate cell phones so much, so long as the person using it isn't in a car or a theater. There doesn't seem much to get riled over. But maybe that's just me

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?

It happens too often in the car.

You see someone yapping their big mouth off while driving like crap.

my mother drives fine when talking on a cell phone. She's absolutely unhindered by it. And I've seen more bad driving by people who were not on cell phones, not to mention there were plenty of car crashes and general bad driving before cell phones. It all has to do with how well you multi-task, really.

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?

I guess T9 has helped me in ways especially if i am on a rush, it instantly predicts the word i am keying in. But i suggest dont use your mobile phones while driving for safety measures.

T9 was first developed by the aztecs but was found to be of little use to them because of poor cellular coverage at that time.

... and they were wiped out because Europeans didn't want to pay the patent fees by the time they invented it themselves.
