Digital Paper

I would like digital paper to come out in force. Imagine the ease of taking a small piece of epaper instead of lugging a PDA or laptop around. This is the future. Flat bendable screens.

I want this stuff as well. Think about taking something that feels like a book and has multiple books and current news with it. Crazy stuff.

This reminds me of Optimus... but they'll be using OLEDs because e-paper is soooo slow... (I'm talking about the keyboard...)

OLED is another tech that should have been here years ago. Battery technology also is so slow to mature.

Over time, this would save a lot of money. As I am sure that it costs a lot, I'm also sure that the fact that there would be less of a need to buy updates would save money in the long run.

Actually this kind of tech should be cheap. It needs power only when changing the display and is simple.

Digital paper should be cheap to produce. I just hope they don't DRM it up.

eBooks have this problem currently. I read that many providers are starting to strip the DRM off the purchases because consumers actually didn't like the restrictions! (gasp)
