Cosmetic Surgery

So, supposedly my friend got her trust fund money a couple of weeks ago and she's a thousandaire. She's being nice to me for tolerating her for over a year (yeah she's a REAL kook) so she's getting me the nose job I've always wanted since I was a preteen.
My guy said he liked me just as I was but took her aside and thanked her because he just wanted me to be happy (awwww...)
What do you all think about cosmetic surgery? And guys...real boobs or fake boobs, just for kicks.

Beauty is in the flaws. The people we laud as beautiful often have at least one uncommon feature. I get irritated by noncorrective cosmetic surgery. It puts the body in pain for mental issues (usually self-esteem). It's doctor-enabled cutting.

I'm not much one for it. But I don't give a bloody fuck what I look like and most people do. I'd like to say it's wrong, and that people are stupid (well, they still are), but it really depends on WHY it's being done. Some people put a lot of themselves in their looks and if it would make you happy, then there's really no question. Just don't do it for anyone else, because that's when regret comes into play.

You're only alive once afterall, people deserve to be happy with who they are during that time.

I would have to agree never do it for someone else. As for the fake boobs I can only tell you that my husband doesn't care for them at all. He thinks they look way to fake.

Cosmetic surgery is good for some people that look abnormal or have a genuine problem... outside of that...

Yeah I'm getting it because whenever I go out, people stare at me and I'm kinda tall and I dress up and wear makeup so they think I'm a dude in drag. My nose is very Italian looking, not feminine at all. When I wanna cheer myself up, I just remind myself of when my friend told me I looked like a female Johnny Thunders!

My friends tell me that people are just stupid but why do I always end up being around those kinds of people? To kill my confidence thats all!
Anyway...about the boob job...that was just for opinions. I'm ok with mine.

People are stupid and rely on appearance to judge the worth of someone because it's too difficult to judge someone based on their actions. It's just easier to walk around thinking you can visually identify the bad people.

Whatever makes you happy. If you'd be happier if people didn't stare at you, then it's already worth it. I've known plenty of people who had nose jobs and they're happier for it (except those who thought it'd magically make their lives better).

Fake breasts that are done well don't look fake. If they look fake the person either chose a size too big for their body or got it from a shoddy plastic surgeon. Just look at the breast size in proportion to their overall size. On average, a larger woman will have bigger breasts naturally. If a small person has large breasts, they're most likely fake. And probably look it, too.

Yeah...I hate seeing people who get work done and didn't even need it. My case? The doctor would most likely say, oh dear god, or poor you, and it'd be his most difficult task as of yet I'm sure haha
