I think I know what is wrong with your internet. Yours is clogged with poker chips. Or perhaps it is a big truck, which you dumped something on.

that test may be a little bogus.
I ran it 4 times in a row.

1st = 2.1mbps
2nd= 4.1mbps
3rd= 4.4mbps
4th= 8.1mbps

the highest I got after running it 20 times consecutively,
see for yourself.

What kind of connection do you have? I only think these speedtests are reliable up to around 5mbps.

Comcast Cable....nothing special. I ran the speakeasy test, which is the one I normally use and everytime that needle was pegged and I was at least at 16000 or higher each time on my d/l speeds.
I also use the Chicago one.
I got 21682/384 this am. WOW!

I also have Comcast... did they roll out the newer higher speed service in your area yet? (I guess so)

I believe I'm still at 6mbps... not that it matters, I'm going to be moving to DSL sooner or later because of price.

I don't think they rolled out faster speeds. I was told I had a 6mbits down max speed.

And I have a package deal where it is cheaper for me to have Cable than DSL. DSL here is 44.95 a month. I can't get ATT/Yahoo DSL anymore which is what I had before the Comcast.
