There is some good rap, and trust me, because this is coming from a Classic Rock fan. Mainstream rap is terrible, I'm talking about rap that has changing beats and actual melody. It's just a form of music, you have to give it a chance.

Well See, As A Trance/Techno-Listener, Some Rap Does Overlap Here and there, Not All Of it is horrible, Just as froogle Said, Mostly the mainstream stuff.

If you listen to most main stream rap, all the lyrics seem to be written by 4th graders. They just throw a few N-words, and other profanity. Listen to anyone of 50 Cent's songs, and you can memorize it in 5 minutes.
