This girl at my prom was standing by the wall, and just (out of nowhere) began to piss.

I took the California High School Proficiency Exam when I was 15 and got the hell out of there so I never had a prom. Even if I did, I wouldn't go because I can see no redeeming qualities in it. But then I hate people so I obviously wouldn't enjoy forced interaction so, yeah...

Glad you had fun, though <!--s51-->:3<!--/s51-->

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?

I went stag and did the robot to some rap song...that's all they played anyways. I didn't know anyone in that grade bc I skipped ahead a year. So, it sucked for me. I tried to make the best of it, but no matter what I did, it still sucked. I even spiked the punch.
I didn't go all out for my prom so it wasn't much of a waste...I only spent $20 on my dress and wore my chucks...I cut, dyed and styled my hair and did my own makeup. The only thing that was a waste was the expensive tickets. Prom should be free.

I didn't go to my prom because I figured no one would dance with me, and I didn't care because there was no one I was interested in anyway. It would have been a waste of money and I didn't care about the school much anyway.

$80 is cheap.. when I had mine, the tickets were $125 a piece. And there was NO WAY I was spending that kind of money just to hang out with coke addicts. Although.. My good friends did go.. but still.

Yeah, our tickets were pretty high too...even the yearbooks were about 80! Yay for living in an upper middle class county...or the richest one in GA or some crap. Too bad I don't fit into that general status.

Ours were like 100.00. Between senior pictures, year books and prom you shell out quite a bit of money during your senior year.

The schools up here are rich, but they still make the kids pay an arm and a leg for yearbooks and prom tickets and those gowns you have to wear at graduation ceremonies.

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?

Not me, no, I never went to Graduation (High school or College), never appealed to me. But my brother's high school had expensive ass cap & gowns that you had to buy through the school to participate in the ceremony. I believe they ran about $150 or so

Yup, that's what happened to my brother. Couldn't afford it, couldn't go. Most people can afford it, though. This is a RICH area, apart from the small section where I live, the rest of the city is pretty much made of mansions and large houses and that sort of thing. I guess that's why the school can always get away with charging some much, most everyone can easily pay it =\

Ah, just remember that commercial... "How do I afford it? I'm in debt up to my eyeballs!" In my area you can look up the information on any piece of property. It's funny how many of the huge houses are on their 3rd or 4th mortgage. I especially like the ones that were bought with negative equity from the get-go, as the buyers had no down payment.

At what price status.

Most of the houses were inhereted from other rich relatives who died, or purchased ages ago. My uncle's parents have a house they bought pretty cheap years ago that's worth so much more now, likely in the millions but they don't pay nearly that much because of when they bought it.
