I myself tend to add the word cake to end some things...or to make it funnier.
For example, my brother and I took a funny Zoidberg (from Futurama) quote when he said, "Perhaps gifts!" We instead say, "Perhaps cupcakes!"
It's mostly like a new adjective...I think that's what I mean?

I have an over/openbite and it's so funny when I spit through my teeth...it sounds like a hissing snake. If that makes sense.
