Problems at home

okay this really sucks A LOT so bear with me....


okay I love my boyfriend so much and I just can't live without him......


But..... I really miss my ex..... and I know I shouldn't because he just used me and took advantage of me and if I see him again that's just what he's gonna do, I thought I was over him... but I was looking at his pictures today and I started crying just because I wanna see him so badly.....



any help here?

Well, to begin with, you should probably get rid of the picture. You don't miss him, you miss the time you had together, preserved by the image. You get rid of the picture, you get rid of the trigger.

If he's as bad as you say, chances are you're only remembering the good and even when you remember the bad, it doesn't seem as bad as it is because it's in the past and has faded from feeling.

My sister is having some of the same problems, only instead of a picture it's a baby.

Her ex really mistreated her and I find it very hard to empathise with her 'missing him' and 'still loving him'. He's an asshole and I personally wish he was dead.

Ah, teenage angst.

It's not a big deal, you'll get over this guy eventually. It's like what Artemis Panthar said, chances are that you're losing sight of the bad, and only focusing on the good. Stop dwelling on the past and move on.

I'm sorry if I'm not much help, Doomzies. One of the reasons I ended up parting ways with my best friend was because after her boyfriend, who confessed to having an affair, broke up with her (even though SHE said she could forgive and wanted to work it out) she wouldn't shut up about how much she loved him and missed him and for the next month was all pining and angst.

I told her I thought it was disgusting that she had a problem and she told me I had trust issues and problems relating because I am never the one to start relationships and always the one to end them. I'm not sure if she was talking about our relationship or my past boyfriends.

I'm sorry, but I have a hard time understanding why when cheating or abusive boyfriends break up with girls they still lament the loss...

It may just be different upbringings.

No no I'm still with the one who registered... but I dunno why I want to see my ex... everyone's prolly right, it's prolly just all the good memories of him and that the bad don't seem as bad anymore thanks guys
