More Posts This Month

Than any previous month in the past year... excluding March because that's when I dumped all the ASEville posts into the forums.

Either way, we are on track to break a record. Think about this, if we get a few more regulars (in the addition to the good amount we have), we can be breaking 3000 posts per month all the time.

We currently posted 1298 messages during the month of August... and it is only the 13th!

WE ARE ROCKING NOW.

In fact, the previous few months have been steadily rising in post counts.

Action posts. Of course, many of these posts have been the off-topic slow-chatting, but a record is a record, and the forums are livelier now, I must say.

Sometimes getting off-topic means that the conversation is lively, as it's gotten more ideas presented, introducing different mindsets.

I point to the New Smilies Thread, where 3 posts in a row were about crack and not smoking enough of it. Though you are right, it does make things more lively.

Of course, off-topic isn't always good.

Sometimes it's stupid, as you pointed out. But, that's all in good fun.

While it is true that off-topic is bad... keeping up discussion is also a good thing.

Once we get a steady flow of members, we'll tone the off-topicness down .
